It’s me 😊

Hi, I’m Sophie and I come from Hungary. I’m a language teacher, teaching English and German to adults (and sometimes to kids). It’s not just a job for me: it’s my profession and I really enjoy it. I love teaching and telling students my stories, my experiences, talking about languages, cultures and travelling. That’s also the aim of this blog. I’d like to share my experiences here, something about the cultures and the places where I live or travel to.

I’ve been living in Berlin, the capital city of Germany and I have travelled to many places in this country. Recently, I’ve also visited the USA, so one of the first blog entries is about that journey. But I’m sure you’re curious about my life in Berlin, so I’m going to share lots of things with you: how I see the city and this culture, the people, etc. And I’d show you things that tourists probably don’t discover for the first sight. I also want to share something about my teaching method: I believe that learning a language is the best way to understand the culture. So, when I teach English or German, I combine it with those cultures.
